Summary:
This shower was filled with sweet storybook and fairytale details throughout. The invitation was designed and written in a story format to set the stage for the shower and guests were invited to bring their own favorite storybook for the baby’s new library. The decor for the shower was also inspired by the large enchanting tree that creates a shaded canopy over my backyard, which was decorated with handmade ribbon and daisy lanterns that swayed in the breeze. Favorite storybook and fairytale quotes were displayed in gold, vintage frames and used as centerpieces, along with fresh spring flowers, orange tulips, and greenery. The color palette was kept gender-neutral and fresh in sage, oranges, and pinks, as the baby’s gender was being kept a surprise.
