For her daughter’s seven year old birthday party, her mom Kaylene DeVries Fields wanted a tea party. MLC Event Planning added some shabby chic and vintage decor items to the theme and created a magical and sweet celebration. They added lace and strings fabric creating a beautiful table skirt and on the chairs as well. Books, antique pieces and frames were used as trays to display the delicious desserts and appetizers. As well as milk glass bottles were dressed with burlap, lace and pearls to add to the decor. A burlap banner was handcrafted add a more personalized touch to the beautiful dessert station. For the outdoors, it was kept simple yet beautiful because of the stunning views of the lake and mountains in the backdrop. a large white tent with crystal chandelier was a great focal point, along with the hanging paper lanterns decorated with lace, ribbons and flowers, and soft pink flowers bouquets that added a special touch to the splendid outdoor seating. Two stands were decorated to display "his" and "hers" dress up station.This included pearls, earrings, necklaces, hats, mini straw hats and purses, feather boas, watches, ties and make up. The favor bags were decorated with white dollies, paper flowers and butterflies to be filled with tea bags, chocolates and candles.
