Fabric pennant hung around inside of screened in porch. Same fabric as name banner and quilt purchased from JoAnn fabric. Streamers were attached with washi tape and sepia tone pictures from the birthday girl's first year were hung with clothes pins on ribbon.
High chair purchased from a local thrift store and refinished with chalk paint. The birthday girl's actual silhouette is painted on the back of the chair. Banner made from scrapbook paper, paper doilies, and craft paint. The birthday girl's big sister painted the artwork that hung on the back door.

Pictures of the birthday girl in brightly colored frames were used on both the drink table and dessert table.
Tents in the backyard provided shade and protection from possible rain showers. Paper lanterns hung from the middle of the tent and paper rose streamers hung from the edges of the tent to add a shaby chic flair.
The same fabric used for pennants and name banner were cut into squares and tied together to form a quilt for guests to sit and work a puzzle or relax. Mason jars filled with water, topped with shabby chic fabric, and tied with a burlap ribbon held the quilt in place.

Game center for younger and older guests alike. The bookshelf was refinished to match the party theme. Hula hoops hung from the side of the shelf, bubbles, jump ropes, sunscreen, and a puzzle was easily accessible to all guests.

Before a name was announced the birthday girl was loving named "baby apricot" by her big sister. Apricot filled doughnuts were purchased from a local bakery: The Doughnut Den.

The smash cake was made by the mom of the birthday girl. Small pieces of fabric were tied to raffia ribbon to create the cake pennant. Pearl sprinkles added an extra shabby chic touch. Cake stand was purchased at Hobby Lobby.
