Summary:
On our first born's first birthday we decided to start a family tradition - Pancakes & Presents! It will likely become "child's breakfast of choice" and presents - but we wanted to start a tradition where we celebrate as a family before the craziness of the day. In the future I envision just one or two presnts, and decorations - something to get the kiddos excited and feel special. For my daughter's first birthday she had her first pancake (blueberry pancakes) and opened a few presents. It was a special morning for all of us!
