Custom made invitations set the tone for the party. The turquoise and red color scheme found in the invitations was used in all elements of the party.

Different activities were set up throughout the party. "Abby's Jewelry Box" had licorice rope and cereal for the kids to make their own necklaces and bracelets. "Elmo's Creation Station" had play-doo and cookie cutters for kids to play and create.

Eating the cereal was just as much fun as making a necklace!
"Big Bird's Seed Search"; messy but voted the most favorite activity at the party by the kids! Just fill a container with bird seed and items found at the dollar section at a store like Target (e.g. stickers, temporary tattoos, mini bottles of bubbles). Provide regular sandbox toys/shovels to dig through the seeds and containers to keep the goodies the kids find!

Lunch was served and was kid and adult friendly - mini turkey burgers, fruit, pasta salad, etc. Plates and napkins matched the color scheme of the party. The centerpieces were made by filling up vases with turquoise and red M&Ms; and then a candy bouquet with red/white swirl suckers.
