Summary:
I threw a Candy Shop themed 1st Birthday Party for my daughter. She is my first born so clearly, I wasn't thinking clearly when it came to having SO MUCH CANDY and SO MANY LITTLE KIDS... they got a bit of a sugar high but the party was amazing. I bought lots of bulk candy and set the dining room table up with a candy display. I then rented a helium tank and blew up over 200 balloons and covered the dining room ceiling with balloons with long streams of ribbons. Needless to say, the kids were in heaven. Each kid was sent home with a take out box that I personalized, full of goodies. They also got a party hat with their names on them. It's a birthday party... everyone should get a party hat! We also had a ice cream bar with all the fixin's. See? I told you I wasn't really thinking about the sugar thing and little kids.
